SHEEP SHEDはビンテージ家具のメンテナンス、張替や新しいプロダクトのデザイン、製作を主軸とした工房を併設したショップです。
1950-1970年代のビンテージ家具、様々な家具に触れてきた私たちがいいと思う新品の家具、出会ってきた仲間たちが製作に情熱を注ぐ作品やプロダクト。
作る場であり集まる場であり発信する場。

SHEEP SHED is a shop with a workshop that focuses on the maintenance and reupholstery of vintage furniture and the design and production of new products.
Vintage furniture from the 1950s to the 1970s, new furniture that we think is good after coming into contact with various furniture, and works and products that our friends we have met are passionate about producing.
A place to create, a place to gather, and a place to send.

50年以上経過した家具の状態はとても様々です。
テーブルのシミや傷、チェストの引き出しは固くなり、椅子はファブリックが破れガタついています。
長年の経験の中で触れてきた家具は数えきれず。汚れ、破損など家具の状態に合わせた対応をしてきました。
The condition of furniture that has passed more than 50 years is very different.The tables are stained and scratched, the chest drawers are hardened, and the fabric of the chairs is torn and rattling.
I have touched countless pieces of furniture in my many years of experience. We have been responding to the condition of the furniture, such as dirt and damage.

木材、布、石材、金属など様々な素材を扱う製作現場を経験してきた私たち独自の解釈、タッチでアプローチしたオリジナル製品の製作しています。
長年ビンテージ家具に関わり、素材の経年変化や先人の知恵に直接触れてきた私たちが現代で新しく製作できるモノは何かを考え、素材や形状、変化していく暮らしの時間軸やモノのサイクルと向き合い、１つの世代で終わらせず次世代に育っていく製品を目指します。
オーダーメイド製品やサイズ、カラーなどのセミオーダー、カスタム等も内容により承ります。ご興味がありましたらお気軽にお問い合わせください。
We create original products with our own interpretations and touches, which we have experienced in production sites that handle various materials such as wood, cloth, stone, and metal.
We have been involved in vintage furniture for many years, and have come into direct contact with the aging of materials and the wisdom of our predecessors. Facing the cycle, we aim to create a product that will grow into the next generation without ending in one generation.
We accept made-to-order products, semi-orders such as sizes and colors, and customs depending on the content. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested.

撮影などにご利用いただけるよう家具や雑貨などの商品の貸し出しを行っています。また、店内を撮影などにお使いいただけるようにショップ内の場所貸しも承っております。
店内の在庫状況や時期によって難しい場合もございます。ご希望のスケジュールなどを前もってお問い合わせください。
We rent out products such as furniture and miscellaneous goods so that you can use them for shooting. In addition, we also accept space rental in the shop so that you can use it for shooting etc.

GALVANITAS (ガルファニタス)は1934年、オランダのブレダでW.H.J Thuring氏によって設立されました。オランダ国内でガルファニタスという名前は耐久性と機能性を兼ね備えたデザインとして認知され、学校からスタジアムの座席にまでシェアが広げられています。第二次世界大戦からヨーロッパの情勢を取り巻く数十年を経て、堅実で耐久性のある建築の代名詞となった同社は、オランダにおけるミッドセンチュリーのモダニズムを定義する実用的なスタイルの確立に一躍を担った現存のメーカーです。
GALVANITAS was founded in 1934 by W.H.J Thuring in Breda, Holland. In the Netherlands, the name Galfanitas has been recognized as a design that combines durability and functionality, and its share has spread from schools to stadium seats. Decades after World War II and in European affairs, the firm has become synonymous with solid, durable architecture, and helped establish the utilitarian style that defined midcentury modernism in the Netherlands. It is the existing manufacturer who took charge.

和歌山市にて、ヨーロッパを中心にビンテージや新品の家具の販売・修理・製作などを行なっています。建物は元スーパーマーケット・薬局をセルフリノベーションしながらDIYスタイルで運営しています。
お店をやるとき [ Shed ]というワードは使いたいと思っていました。
訳すと納屋とか小屋です。古い家具を扱うのですごく気に入っていて、あとは動物も入れたいと思い、動物園に行って決めました。
羊です。フワフワで目が四角です。
外敵から身を守るのに320度くらい見えてるらしいです。

音の感じ、語尾がpかdかだけなのも気に入ってます。
ちなみに自分は寅年です。
In Wakayama City, we sell, repair, and manufacture vintage and new furniture, mainly in Europe. The building is operated in a DIY style while self-renovating a former supermarket and pharmacy.
I wanted to use the word [shed] when I opened the shop. It translates to a barn or a shed. I really liked the old furniture, and I also wanted to include animals, so I decided to go to the zoo.
Sheep. Fluffy and square eyes.
